this is a permanent makeup technique.

The Machine Hair Stroke technique not only creates beautiful results but also avoids causing damaging trauma to the skin, which produces healthier long-term pigment retention. This technique works on all skin types, including dry, oily, combo, thick, thin, young, or mature. At Beauttega, our client list includes individuals with alopecia or other auto-immune disorders, cancer patients who have lost their hair, trichotillomania, and persons searching for a natural-looking eyebrow lift.

this is a
permanent makeup technique.

Normally, touch-ups are required for most permanent makeup services but with this technique + our beliefs, a touch up may not be needed. This technique produces incredible healed results in most skin types. Permanent makeup can become unnatural-looking when too much pigment has been deposited into the skin. That is why we believe, if your brows healed beautifully in the skin after the first session, there is no need to put more pigment into the skin! If there are any areas that healed patchy or if you would like the strokes to be darker overall, then we recommend scheduling a touch up. Oily skin types and clients with previous permanent makeup will most likely need a touch up session.

am I going to need a 6-8 week touch up?

Short answer: yes and no.

Primary numbing alters the texture of the skin due to the product absorption. This can cause the needle to create excess trauma to the skin. Because of this, we do not use primary numbing for the first pass to create the least amount of trauma possible. During the second and third passes, we use secondary numbing to keep the client comfortable and pain-free throughout the rest of the procedure.

Do you numb the brows?

We cannot work on any clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding to avoid any complications, risks, or infection that could result from the procedure.

We recommend waiting 3-4 months after you have finished breastfeeding before getting your brows done. This will allow time for your body to regulate it's hormones to achieve the best results possible. We promise it will be worth the wait!

Can I get my brows done if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes! Depending on your previous permanent makeup saturation, we may need to start fresh by removing the previous pigment. If the previous pigment has faded enough, we may be able to work over them. Our number 1 goal is to create NATURAL looking healed results for each client. If your previous permanent makeup is very saturated (looks like a tattoo instead of flesh toned skin) or if the pigment has turned blue/gray or any other funky color, it is not possible to create a natural looking result. In those cases, we highly recommend magnetic tattoo removal to pull the pigment out of the skin so we can start fresh!

If you have previous PMU and need some guidance on what your next step should be, email us a picture of your brows to support@beauttega.co and we will recommend the best plan for you!

If I have previous permanent makeup, can I get nano brows?

Since this technique uses 1 singular needle, it is minimally invasive. This means that there is barely any bleeding or trauma that's caused to the skin. The feeling is often described as a "light scratch”. The majority of our clients rate the pain level at a 1-3 out of 10.

If you have previous permanent makeup done to your brows, please email a picture of them with your name to support@beauttega.co before booking your appointment. Depending on the level of pigment saturation, your previous PMU may hinder us from working on your brows in their current state. If you show up to an appointment with previous PMU and you have not verified your eligibility, you may be charged an inconvenience/reschedule fee. We appreciate your understanding!
